Bring it On: The Phrasal verbs.Próxima Publicaciónn)
El Libro "Bring it On: The Phrasal verbs. Un nuevo Enfoque" ofrece un nuevo enfoque cognitivo para la enseñanza aprendizaje de estos incómodos verbos ingleses. El enfoque propuesto se aleja de la memorizacion tradicional del significado al sugerir un aprendizaje basado en nuestra experiencia corporal con nuestro entorno y las metáforas conceptuales, pasando del significado literal al metafórico mediante esquemas mentales que unifican y dan sentido a la diferentes expresiones lingüísticas lingüísticas.
ABOUT ME
At present I am focused on the cognitive and cultural study of the phrasal verbs trying to link both the literal and metaphorical meaning. There is an underlying mental image that permeates the different linguistic expressions that come from our daily contact with reality and is the base to understand and master the meaning of the constructions with particles. This approach is helping students to understand and extend the use of these verbs without the effort of memorising every sense of the Phrasal verb.
